I started my art journey in 2014 by taking community college art classes, and went on to earn my Bachelor's in Art Education from Northern Arizona University in 2019. From there, I spent four and a half years teaching middle school art and working as a community teaching artist for the City of Tempe.
My personal style evolved in 2021 as I experimented with digital tools and various neurographic practices. My art is driven by an appreciation for the beauty in everyday life. I like to source my models ethically from the Museum by Sktchy app, and focus mainly on feminine and alternative aesthetics. My process is rooted in experimentation, as most of my art-making motivation is in bringing new ideas, techniques, and tools to my classroom.
In 2024 I moved to New York, where I currently work as an Arts Program Coordinator for the YMCA and volunteer with the Free Art Collective.
When I'm not teaching or making art, I like to crochet, play video games, play with my dog Bodie, and travel with my husband Alex.
